About Wholesomely Morgan

Hi, I’m Morgan!
Mom, meal prepper, and the person behind Wholesomely Morgan.

This space started for one simple reason. I was tired of feeling overwhelmed every single week trying to figure out what to cook, how to prep, and how to feed my family without living in the kitchen or relying on cereal for dinner.

If you’re a busy mom who wants food that feels cozy, nourishing, and realistic, not Pinterest-perfect or insanely complicated, you’re in the right place.

What Wholesomely Morgan Is All About

Wholesomely Morgan is here to make meal prep and everyday cooking feel doable again. No weird ingredients, no extreme rules, and no pressure to be perfect.

I focus on:

  • Easy, family friendly meal prep
  • Recipes that actually taste good and reheat well
  • Budget conscious grocery strategies
  • Simple non toxic swaps that don’t feel overwhelming
  • Real life cooking for real life schedules

Basically, I want to help you answer “what’s for dinner?” without the stress spiral.

Why I Started This

I grew up loving to cook with my mom and grandmother, but once I became a mom myself, cooking started to feel hard. Between postpartum hormones, exhaustion, picky eaters, and the mental load of planning everything, something I loved started to feel overwhelming.

Meal prep became my lifeline. Not the rigid, bland kind, but flexible, cozy, thank me later food that made the week easier. Once I started sharing what worked for me, this community grew into what it is today.

Wholesomely Morgan FAQs

Not currently but an Ebook is in the works!

I try to shop mainly at Sprouts, HEB, or Kroger but lately, I have found myself loving Aldi! Those prices are hard to beat, and they have great organic produce.

All of my recipes can be made gluten-free, dairy-free, or vegan.

Absolutely! I will always provide a substitution and if there isn’t one, please feel free to message me and I will be happy to provide that for you!

I try to focus on progress, not perfection— some weeks I cook from scratch, others I rely on shortcuts. I also keep meals realistic and satisfying so they don’t feel restrictive. Having quick, high protein meals and snacks helps me stay fueled without stressing over food all day. And most importantly, I remind myself that balance is key– there’s always room for both nourishing meals and fun treats!

Batch cook proteins & carbs– grill or roast a protein and cook a grain at the start of the week

Prep in layers, not full meals– keep ingredients separate so you can mix and match

One pan or sheet pan meals– minimal cleanup!!

Have go-to “no recipe” meals– things like wraps, bowls, or breakfast-for-dinner keep meal prep simple

Proteins like canned beans, lentils, tuna or protein pasta, etc.

Grains & Carbs like quinoa, rice, oats, etc.

Sauces & Condiments like coconut aminos, tahini, salsa, hot sauce, dijon mustard, etc.

Spices & Seasonings like garlic powder, smoked paprika, Italian seasoning, cinnamon, etc.

Healthy Fats like olive oil, ghee, nut butters, seeds, etc.

Snacks & Extras like dark chocolate (obviously!!), protein bars, dried fruit, nuts

Air fryer, blender, sheet pans, all my Caraway products, cast iron skillet, storage containers, and antique kitchen finds
