  • 1 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1-2 whole vanilla beans split + scraped
  • ½-1 tsp vanilla bean paste optional but recommended

No-Heat Infusion Method

  • Split the vanilla bean lengthwise and scrape out seeds.
  • Place seeds + pod into a clean jar.
  • Pour maple syrup into the jar.
  • Add vanilla bean paste if using.
  • Seal and shake gently.
  • Infuse 24–48 hours before gifting; flavor deepens for 1–2 weeks.

Heated Option

  • Split and scrape your vanilla bean.
  • Add bean + maple syrup to a saucepan.
  • Warm over low heat for 3–4 minutes — don’t simmer.
  • Cool completely, transfer to jar, and include bean pod inside.
